TV Remote
Turns your iPhone into a remote for a network-connected TV.
The remote is missing, the batteries are dead, someone left it in another room. When that happens, your iPhone controls the TV over the same Wi-Fi. It supports Wake on LAN, so it can switch the TV back on as well as off.
What it does
- A large circular D-pad, with volume and channel on separate rockers
- A keypad for typing channel numbers directly, including three-digit sub-channels
- Inputs read from the TV itself and listed by name, rather than cycled through
- Text entry for the TV's search screens, typed on the iPhone keyboard
- Power on over Wake on LAN (requires a supported TV and a setting on it)
